Shocker! Noel Gallagher Actually Liked Kanye West’s Glastonbury Set (Sort Of)

When Jay Z was named Glastonbury headliner in 2008, Noel Gallagher suggested a hip-hop act shouldn't have topped the bill.  Kanye West headlined the mammoth British fest last month, and the Oasis guitarist actually admitted to enjoying it — for 30 minutes, at least.

Well, he went from completely rejecting the genre seven years ago to admitting to enjoying it for a half-hour. Progress!

All this comes after a pre-fest petition demanded West's removal in favor of a more "rock act" and the actual performance being interrupted by a corny comedian who claimed to be acting on the petition's behalf.

Aside from the "most hip-hop gigs" line, Gallagher also threw some random shade at deadmau5 . He opens the video with, "Hello, this is deadmau5 without the stupid fucking hat."
