Star-Wars Loving Goldendoodle 'Reuniting With His Biological Father' at Disneyland Is Pure Magic
  • Brodie the Goldendoodle had a heartwarming family reunion with his biological dad at Disneyland, delighting onlookers with their uncanny resemblance.

They say that Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth, and that's even more true when there's a dog around. Just ask everyone who spotted Brodie the Goldendoodle while at Disneyland in late June! This fluffy service dog and canine influencer is no stranger to Main Street, USA, but a recent visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge ended in an extra special way.

That's because Brodie and his human dad went to visit his "biological dad" in the park! This family reunion was highly anticipated and deeply appreciated, but you have to see it for yourself to believe your eyes. The resemblance between father and son is uncanny!

LOL! The build-up of anticipation in this video is unmatched, especially as a crowd of people gathered for the chance to see a four-legged celebrity in the flesh. I'd prioritize Brodie over most Disneyland attractions, too, but I can imagine the fan attention could get overwhelming sometimes, too. I'm glad everyone was able to have a great time and that this Doodle dog checked off his main to-do list item. Anyone who's been to Disneyland knows that it's nearly impossible to do it all!

Commenter @chrisaaziz wasn't the only one who was initially fooled. He wrote, "Not me thinking it was an actual family reunion." Don't worry--I was right there with you! Until I realized they were at Disneyland, I genuinely expected Brodie to meet his doggie dad. His mom is Luna, a Golden Retriever , and she's often featured in Brodie's videos since they live together! Rusty is Brodie's biological dad, and he's a Standard Poodle who's been seen in videos, too. And not to mention proud dog dad Cliff!

How Does a Dog Get Into Disneyland?

Once viewers started to get over the intergalactic cuteness of this Wookiee reunion, curious folks began to ask how Brodie got into Disneyland in the first place. As it turns out, he is a 'task-trained service dog!' Properly trained service dogs are the only kind of animals allowed entry to Disney parks, though this Poodle mix's celebrity status sure doesn't hurt.

Some skeptical viewers commented that they've never seen Brodie perform a service dog task, but the truth is...  they don't need to! While business owners are allowed to ask, " is this a service dog ?" and "what tasks is this dog trained to perform?" service dog owners are not required to divulge private information to the public.

However, Cliff did speak up about this back in 2020 when he told SWNS, "I have an autoimmune condition called lichen planus. I was born with it, but it snuck up on me five years ago. It's when the immune system treats the skin as a foreign body and attacks it. We found that stress is a big factor, but ever since I've had Brodie, I don't have flare-ups." That's amazing! Brodie is simultaneously keeping his dad in remission and causing millions of smiles. Now,  that's a major win-win.
