Stephen Stills Recruits Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, Christina Applegate & More for 2018 Autism Benefit Concert
Back in 2013, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young? singer Stephen Stillsplayed the first Light Up The Blues concert to raise funds for Autism Speaks, with the event happening annually aside from last year. As announced Wednesday (Jan. 17), the event is set to make a triumphant return in 2018, taking place at Los Angeles' Dolby Theater on Apr. 21.
This year's Autism awareness benefit concert features an awesome lineup of performers, including Neil Young,Sheryl Crow,Burt Bacharch,Judy Collins, Chris Stills,Jack Blackand Christina Applegate .

The Autism Speaks organization holds a special place in Stills' heart, as his 21 year-old son Henry was diagnosed as autistic shortly before his third birthday. His wife Krisen told Rolling Stone , "The reason we started Light Up The Blues was out of the void of me not having to be micromanaging Henry so much, as he was finally in a good place. Stephen and I wanted to give back to families that don't have time and resources to make their kid's life a full-time job with lots of overtime."
TheCrosby, Stills, Nash & Youngsinger was convinced to hold the event once more this year by none other than fellow band member Neil Young who visited the couple at their home. The money they raise at Light Up The Blues will be given to Autism Speaks, the largest Autism non-profit in the world, with Krisen adding, "we pretty much give them unrestricted dollars. We have enough faith and trust in them to know where the money should land. A lot of their money goes into science and research along with child and family services, whether it's for someone high functioning or low functioning."
