Sting Receives Polar Music Prize, Gets Covered By The Tallest Man On Earth, Annie Lennox & Others: Watch

StingandWayne Shorterboth  received the 2017 Polar Music Prize  during a gala at the Stockholm Concert Hall on Thursday (June 15). The Swedish prize founded byABBA manager Stig Anderson celebrates "the power and importance of music" and winners receive 1 million Swedish crowns. The Tallest Man On Earth, Annie Lennox, José Feliciano, and more performed covers in honor of Sting's solo career and his work withthe Police.

Lennox performed an emotional solo piano version of "Fragile" from the singer's Grammy-winning 1987 Nothing Like the Sun album.

The Tallest Man on Earth did a unique, jazzy take on the Police classic "Roxanne."

Feliciano strummed his acoustic for a soulful stroll through "Every Breath You Take."

Grammy-winning football-player-turned jazz vocalist Gregory Porter covered the Ten Summoner's Tales song "It's Probably Me."

Ane Brun, Linnea Olsson, Jennie Abrahamson and Josefine Runsteen were joined by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra for a majestic "Why Should I Cry For You."
