Susan Lucci might be known as a queen of the small screen, but the iconic All My Children actress is currently strutting her stuff onstage in the Off-Broadway play, My First Ex-Husband —and making sure she gets plenty of rest in the process.

In a photo shared to Instagram on Sunday, March 16, Lucci lay on a cot in what appeared to be a dressing room with a leopard-print blanket pulled up under her chin. She smiled peacefully, wearing a full face of makeup.

My First Ex-Husband was created by The View 's Joy Behar, who starred in the show's first cast. Lucci officially joined the second rotating cast at the end of February alongside  Cathy Moriarty, Tonya Pinkinsand Judy Gold, and will perform through March 23.

Last month, Lucci opened up to People about why she loves acting in front of a live audience.

"Performing live comes with its own set of excitement and involvement," she said, adding, "The audiences gets engaged, and it's terrific."

I think especially when you—well, anytime, but especially with comedy—anytime the audience gets engaged, it's really nice," Lucci continued.

"You're in this together. The audience is there to laugh, and you're there to find the laughs. It's very fun to get the response from the audience."
