But Luna was killed off on Bold and Beautiful, and fans have since been wondering if there is some way she could still return. In this new interview with TVInsider , Bradley Bell gave a definitive answer to the big Luna question.
"Luna is dead," Bell said. "We all saw it. I mean, Lisa Yamada, wow. And to cap it off with an Emmy and to have her bring levity and that spark in her eye and the unique delivery. What a joy she was to work with and what a wonderful person. She took that character and ran with it, and it was so wonderful collaborating with Lisa."
Despite Luna's exit, Bell stressed that the show will not slow down. Instead, new storylines and creative opportunities are set to take center stage. Bell also spoke about the new studio space where production has shifted and the creative freedom it provides. "It's amazing," he said. "We had a handful of sets at our old stage, and now we have three times the size. I used to have to choose which sets to write for, and now I can write 12 sets into an episode at any time. I don't have to think about what's on the floor, what needs to be trucked in or trucked out, or the turnover days. It's really wonderful."
So, as 2026 kicks off, there is a lot to look forward to in Bold and Beautiful . Hopefully, this year will be just as exciting as the last.
