Days of Our Lives' Patrick Muldoon Dead at 57

Former Days of Our Lives star  Patrick Muldoon (Austin) died after a heart attack on April 19 at the age of 57, according to Deadline . 

Best known for his role as Austin Reed on Days of Our Lives , he also appeared in such hits as Melrose Place, Saved by the Bell,  and in the 1997 big-screen film Starship Troopers . 

In the 1990s, Muldoon had a development deal with Spelling Entertainment. 

According to IMDb, he had several more projects in various stages of development or production. 

After originating the role of Austin Reed in 1992, Muldoon exited it in 1995. He returned to the role in 2011 and last appeared on DAYS in 2012.
