Maria Bartiromo No Longer With Fox News Media

Fox News Media has parted ways with Maria Bartiromo, effective immediately. The network did not provide a reason for why it has parted ways with the Fox Business Network host.

"We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter," the company said in a statement.

Bartiromo anchored the weekday morning program Mornings With Maria, which aired 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET; the weekly half-hour show Maria Bartiromo's Wall Street, which aired on Fridays at 7 p.m. ET; and the Sunday 10 a.m. ET news program Sunday Morning Futures on Fox News.

The network says Mornings With Maria will become Mornings with Fox Business, featuring rotating anchors; the Friday show will be renamed FBN's Wall Street, hosted temporarily by Cheryl Casone, with rotating anchors thereafter; and the Sunday program that Bartiromo anchored on Fox News will be hosted this Sunday by Jason Chaffetz, with a permanent host to be announced later.

Bartiromo's TV news career started at CNN on October 18, 1993. She joined CNBC the following year, where she became a household name in the business world, and stayed with them until she joined Fox News Media in Jan. 2014.

In 2019, she signed a multi-year deal with the network , with Fox News Media chief executive officer Suzanne Scottsaying in a statement at that time, "Her exceptional insights and incredible work ethic have been of tremendous value to Fox Business and Fox News, and we're thrilled to have her continue anchoring each of her stellar programs for many more years to come."
