A 13-year-old San Antonio actress is set to star in her own Netflix series next week.

Celestina Harris voices Doozie, Gabby's younger sister, in "Doozie's Doghouse," a spinoff of the animated children's show "Gabby's Dollhouse." The new series follows Doozie into a dog-themed playhouse.

"Gabby's Dollhouse" follows Gabby as she shrinks to toy size and enters a cat-themed dollhouse to play with her stuffed kitty friends.

After auditioning for the role, Harris built a recording studio in her San Antonio home so she could pursue more voiceover opportunities.

"It just made sense to build one instead of having to go all the way to another studio and pay to record there," she told the San Antonio Current. "Whenever I have an audition, I always do it there."

The audition process took five months. Harris watched "Gabby's Dollhouse" with her younger brother, a fan of the show, as she prepared.

"His eyes just lit up. I was like, 'Wow, this is a way bigger franchise than I could ever imagine!'" Harris told the Current. "I imagined all the other kids and their eyes lighting up, too."

Harris hopes children will embrace the "imaginative mindset" of Doozie and her puppy friends.

"I feel like all the activities that we do, the crafts we make and adventures we have with the kids bring them a lot of joy," she said. "Doozie is so playful and energetic. She definitely has that puppy energy."
