Vic St. John and Christine Hamilton think boring is cool.

Vic and Christine were one of two couples to tie the knot on season 10 of "Love Is Blind" − and they're the only pair still married today. Throughout the show, they got plenty of love from fans who appreciated a rare display of healthy communication on reality TV.

But some people on the internet thought they were a bit mundane − and maybe even planted by production .

"I think a lot of times, people equate boring as to healthy, or chaotic or more lively can be unhealthy," Christine said in an interview with The Dispatch. "And I think that's not really a fully fair statement. We were boring in the sense of TV drama, sure, but we had plenty of serious conversations and meaningful conversations."

Vic and Christine got together with their castmates for the "Love Is Blind" reunion that aired March 11. Co-host Nick Lachey called them "nauseatingly perfect" as they recounted nearly one year of marriage, from family gatherings to a reunion with Christine's estranged father.

They also discussed why Vic and Christine were chosen to go to Malibu by themselves. The show followed seven couples this season, but it could only send six of them on a trip to Mexico. Lachey said producers believed in Vic and Christine.

"It made sense in some ways, because we knew we were each other's No. 1 from day one. ... Even my friends told me, 'You're too boring to be on reality TV,'" Christine said during the reunion. "I was here to find my person, and I got that."

Where are Vic and Christine today?

Christine is a speech-language pathologist and previously lived in the Cleveland area. The two now have a home in Columbus, where Vic works as an assistant professor at the Ohio State University.

The gap between filming and airing forced Vic and Christine to act like "secret spies" with work and church friends to keep the origin of their relationship quiet. Vic never wore his wedding ring in the classroom. After the casting announcement dropped, Vic said, his students asked questions but weren't too nosy about the final outcome.

"Shoutout to the Buckeyes, like super supportive," he said. "I didn't expect that at all, but it was a community."

Christine said they've spent the past 11 months merging their lives and learning how to navigate marriage. But no one else this season got the same ending.

Amber and Jordan were the second couple to get married, but they split up after four months. Alex and Ashley said no. Devonta and Brittany called off their wedding and later broke up. Two other couples didn't make it to the altar, although one of them − Bri and Connor − are still together.

Vic and Christine said they were disappointed by the outcome for their friends. But in hindsight, they don't think everyone was there for the right reasons.

"Obviously, this process does work, and we're definitely believers that love is blind," Christine said. "And I think if there would have been better intentions going in, there would have been a much higher success rate."

So, what's next for Vic and Christine? Like most Ohioans, they're excited for the weather to warm up. But they're also trying to decide what to do with their newfound fame and social media following.

"I don't think I understood or Christine understood the magnitude of the show and the eyes on the show and what that would mean and the digital presence and community," Vic said. "It's kind of scary."

But Vic said he and Christine believe their new life is meant to be and was certain of one thing: "This won't be the last that you see or hear from us."
