White House Lashes Out At ‘SNL’ Segment And It Isn’t Bad Bunny’s
The Trump administration still isn't laughing at " Saturday Night Live ."
The White House issued a weak comeback to the season premiere's cold open, in which James Austin Johnson 's Donald Trump warned the show it better be on its "best behavior" or else face his Federal Communications Commission "attack dog."

"Reacting to this would require me to waste my time watching it," White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Entertainment Weekly on Sunday. "And like the millions of Americans who have tuned out from 'SNL,' I have more entertaining things to do — like watch paint dry."
Yeah, uh, good one!
In the first segment, Colin Jost's gung-ho Pete Hegseth declares the "military is gay as hell" and instead should be full of "hot, shredded, hairless men who are definitely not gay."
The fake defense secretary notes that the country is "facing the greatest threat to freedom and democracy the world has ever known, and we all know what that threat is ...."

"Late-night TV," Johnson's Trump breaks in. "... I'm just here keeping my eye on 'SNL.' Making sure they don't do anything too mean about me."
"Here we are, 'SNL' season 51. Should have called it at 50, right?" the faux president says. "So sad to see something get old and confused and still demand your constant attention. Oh well! But they better be on their best behavior; otherwise, they're going to have to answer to my attack dog at the FCC, Brandon Carr." (Trump makes it clear to Mikey Day's Carr that he doesn't care that he got his first name wrong ― it's Brendan.)
"And remember," Trump warns the cast in closing. "Daddy's watching."
The FCC chair's pressure on ABC reportedly led to the parent company, Disney, pulling talk show host and Trump critic Jimmy Kimmel from the air last month, before reinstating him a short time later.
Bad Bunny , the Puerto Rican singer who has assailed Trump's immigration crackdown, was already ticking off Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem before his guest host gig on "SNL." He was chosen as the Super Bowl halftime performer, prompting Noem to ratchet up rhetoric about ICE agents swarming the game to snare Bad Bunny fans who are in the country illegally.
In his "SNL" intro, Bad Bunny talked briefly in Spanish, playfully warning viewers that if they didn't understand what he just said, they had 4 months until the Super Bowl to learn.
