‘White Lotus’ Star Jason Isaacs “Took Pride in the Prosthetic,” TV Daughter Sarah Catherine Hook Says of Full-Frontal Scene
- Actors Sam Nivola and Sarah Catherine Hook revealed that the full-frontal scene in HBO’s The White Lotus featuring Jason Isaacs was fake.
The Ratliff family secrets are starting to unravel.
In an interview with TV Insider published Tuesday, Sam Nivola, who plays the youngest Ratliff sibling Lochlan on HBO's The White Lotus , and Sarah Catherine Hook, who plays older sister Piper Ratliff, revealed that full-frontal scene from last week's episode was fake.

Jason Isaacs' character, Timothy Ratliff, was talking to his family in a robe and as he leans back, his full frontal was exposed. "That wasn't his real penis," Nivola said to which Hook backed up, "It was a prosthetic."
Hook recalled filming the scene, "It was really funny. He was very excited to do it. I think he took pride in the prosthetic. He gave that guy a nice shot."
Nivola added, "He's like, 'It's my fake dick scene today!'"
Isaacs recently spoke with Decider about White Lotus creator Mike White's intention to include the "great moment" in the episode. "Look, he's trying to right the balance of how many naked women I've seen growing up on every television show and film," Isaacs said of White. "Nudity is the thing. He uses it sometimes for comedy, sometimes for sex, sometimes the manipulation. It's a good TV moment."
The White Lotus is no stranger to nudity either, as Patrick Schwarzenegger , the oldest Ratliff sibling, Saxon, has a brief frontal nude moment in the first episode of season three. Steve Zahn in the first season and Theo James in the second also had nude scenes.
New episodes of The White Lotus premiere Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Max.
