This Wisconsinite and former All-American gymnast will be on the upcoming season of 'Farmer Wants a Wife'
From floor routines and balance beams to looking for love on national TV. A former All-American gymnast from Wisconsin is taking on a different kind of competition.
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater alum and Madison resident Karina Sabol will attempt to make farmer J'Marick "Jay" Woods' heart flip and leap on Season 3 of the Fox reality TV dating show "Farmer Wants a Wife," which premieres in March.
Right off the bat, it appears the two have a few things in common: Woods is also an impressive former athlete. He previously played football for Michigan and Duke.
Woods grew up on his grandfather's horse farm, according to the network, and continues to ride . And, by the looks of Sabol's Instagram , she's a horseback rider, too.
That's gotta be some serious "FWAW" bonus points, right?
In addition to Woods, there will be three other farmers — Matt Warren, John Sansone and Colton Hendricks — each with a crop of daters, looking to "leave behind city life for the charm of the country as they embark on an adventure that could change the course of their lives forever," the network said in a news release. Season 3 will kick off with 32 total daters , including Sabol.

What to expect from 'Farmer Wants a Wife' Season 3
"As the ladies immerse themselves in the realities of farm life, some will blossom while some will head out to pasture, and only time will tell if they have the patience, spirit and adaptability required to be a farmer's wife," a Fox news release said.
During the journey, the farmers and their daters will travel to Alabama for a speed dating event, Tennessee for a country ball and Texas for an overnight camping mixer.
New this season: The final daters will bring their families back to the farms where their loved ones will experience first-hand what it is like living in the countryside.
About 'Farmer Wants a Wife' dater and Wisconsinite Karina Sabol
According to Fox, Sabol is a 23-year-old operations manager who lives in Madison.
Sabol, a Middleton native, attended Middleton High School, then UW-Whitewater for college, according to the university's official athletics site .
Her accolades for floor exercise include National Collegiate Gymnastics Association All-America, the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association first team All-America, the NCGA West All-Championship Team, Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/NCGA West Regional champion (All-WIAC) and first team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, among others. She was also honored for her academics, including WCGA Scholastic All-America.
Sabol graduated with her bachelor of business administration in 2022, per her LinkedIn profile.
A few days ago, Sabol shared her big "Farmer Wants a Wife" news on Instagram .

Who is 'Farmer Wants a Wife' Season 3 farmer Jay Woods?
Woods, 25, is a hay and cattle farmer from Florence, Alabama, the network shared in a news release.
His show bio said: "Despite not being initially perceived as a typical "cowboy," Jay grew up in the country of Alabama on his grandfather's horse farm surrounded by family - farming, hunting, kayaking, fishing, and anything else that kept him outdoors surrounded by animals. When Jay's original dream of becoming a pro athlete while playing football at Duke was crushed due to an injury, he began to reflect on the times in his life that made him the happiest to determine his next steps. Choosing to return to his roots was easy, and he's never looked back. While Jay felt pressure playing college football, it's nothing compared to the massive pressure his mom's been putting on him lately asking about grandbabies!"
Woods is looking for a kind-hearted, refined and confident woman, who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty on the farm, per the bio.
Woods graduated from Michigan in winter 2019 with a degree in kinesiology and got his master's in management studies from Duke in spring 2021, according to his Duke bio .
Has a Wisconsinite ever been on 'Farmer Wants a Wife' before?
Yes! On Season 2, Wisconsin was well repped by dater, Caledonia resident Grace Girard , a UW-Madison grad, Wisconsin sports enthusiast and communications associate.
Four farmers were on that season as well, each with a group of daters attempting to wrangle their hearts. On the season finale, Farmer Brandon Rogers chose Girard .
But, during the reunion , which aired in May, it was revealed that the two were no longer together. They split shortly after filming concluded, but had remained close friends , Girard told the Journal Sentinel.
It wasn't long before Girard hard-launched a new relationship with Trevor Jung, the transit and mobility director for the city of Racine and a former Wisconsin Democratic National Convention delegate . They're both extroverted, have a "deep commitment" to their families, enjoy being on the go, making friends and entertaining, the couple shared with the Journal Sentinel over the summer.
"Obviously, the fans saw how much I love Wisconsin and how I probably could never leave here," Girard said in that interview. "So, it's been really, really nice to find what I was looking for in my backyard."
