"Within my catalog, 'Maria Maria' was one of those songs that Clive gave me a chance to step in with CarlosSantana in the studio. Of course, as a guitar player, watching Santana's gonna be incredible," Jean remembers. "Tonight… for me, I'm always like a kid in a candy store… and Puff's getting honored, so I know it's about to go, 'cause can't nobody party like Puff. It's going down."
Asked what one of his favorite Diddy moments has been, Jean says that while they have known each other for a while, one of his favorite memories is when Diddy rocked a mohawk and ran a marathon in 2003. "This dude is really the real Superman," he adds.
In the interview, Jean is also asked if there's any chance he might show up at the Super Bowl, seeing asShakira will be performing and he worked on her track "Hips Don't Lie."
"Well I don't know. All I could do is tell you, even if I ain't there, as long as I'm getting paid, we're good," he says with a laugh.
