While a trip to a place like Walt Disney World can be fun, you'll inevitably run into kids during your stay. While there's nothing wrong with kids, sometimes you want to escape and travel to a place without screaming children or crying babies. If that sounds familiar, then you'll probably enjoy an adults-only all-inclusive resort.

According to a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts study , 77% of travelers believe booking an all-inclusive trip is the "least stressful way to travel." After all, an all-inclusive resort can take away the hassle of having to plan reservations or book excursions and any other activities that you might need during your stay. And a location that caters only to adults can give you peace of mind when it comes to a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It's a win-win!

To help you plan your trip, we spoke with Helene Sula —travel expert (with over 750k Instagram followers ) and author of Two O'Clock on a Tuesday at Trevi Fountain — about the best adults-only all-inclusive resorts . Here's what she told Parade.

1.  Excellence Playa Mujeres

Cancun is a great place to visit if you're looking for pillowy beaches and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

"This resort is the epitome of luxury with oversized suites (many with swim-up access) and private rooftop terraces," Sula tells Parade.

If there's one thing this resort doesn't lack, it's activities. There's so much to do while staying on the property.

"Paddleboarding, snorkeling, cooking classes and nightly entertainment are just some of the offerings you will find at Excellence Playa Mujeres," Sula says.

After engaging in activities all day long or relaxing on the beach with a frozen margarita, you'll probably be hungry. This all-inclusive resort has 10 restaurants with a variety of seafood cuisine to gourmet Italian.

2.  Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Another great resort in Cancun is Secrets Maroma, which is both secluded and romantic—making it great for adults and, specifically, couples.

"This resort boasts pristine white sands and an incredible spa," Sula explains. When you're not relaxing on the beach, you can participate in scuba diving, yoga and wine tastings just to name some of the offerings.

In terms of food, there are six à la carte restaurants on site, a buffet and a café to keep the dining experience fresh and varied during your stay. Plus, sometimes you don't want to get dressed up to go eat somewhere so you can bring it back to your room and enjoy it there or order room service.

Plus, if you have a furry friend, the resort is pet-friendly so you can bring them along on your trip as well and save money on those dog boarding fees.

3.  Sanctuary Cap Cana, Dominican Republic

When you're on vacation not only do you want to feel relaxed, but also safe. This all-inclusive resort is located in a private gated community and is home to 30,000 acres of beaches and oceanfront roads.

"This castle-inspired resort feels like stepping into a fairytale, with oceanfront suites and butler service," Sula tells Parade.

All of the suites and rooms on site have balconies or terraces, minibars and bathrooms with double sinks to make it easier to get ready in the morning.

In terms of activities, if you enjoy golfing, then you'll want to take some time to play a few rounds at Punta Espada Golf Club, which is located directly on the property. Other pastimes involve catamaran cruises and spa treatments with a Caribbean flair. When you get hungry, there are five à la carte restaurants, including a steakhouse and seafood grill, alongside 24-hour room service to satisfy those late-night cravings.

4.  Jade Mountain, St. Lucia

If you plan on taking a trip to St. Lucia, then you'll want to book a stay at Jade Mountain.

"The rooms (or 'sanctuaries') feature open-air layouts with infinity pools overlooking the Pitons," Sula shares.

You'll never get bored during your stay with a variety of activities to engage in including hiking, sunset sailing, al fresco art classes, cooking classes and mountain biking. Plus you can explore nearby chocolate farms. In terms of food, there's no shortage of fresh options, especially farm-to-table cuisine with a Caribbean twist.

Unique to the resort is a chocolate laboratory where you can find over 2,000 cocoa trees and engage and participate in making chocolate too. This isn't something you see every day at most all-inclusive resorts, so you'll definitely want to check it out.

5.  Couples Swept Away

Located in Jamaica, this adults-only all-inclusive resort is located along Seven Mile Beach with views of the sparkling blue ocean.

"Its laid-back vibe, private beach and amazing watersports make it perfect for couples," Sula explains. "Plus, with activities like snorkeling, tennis and unlimited scuba diving for certified divers you'll never get bored."

One standout feature of the resort is that it has the largest fitness center on the island. If you're looking to get a workout in , you'll be able to do it all right on the property.

After a workout, you may build up an appetite. The property has seven restaurants and eight bars to keep you feeling full whether you're craving pizza or Jamaican jerk chicken.

6.  Royal Davui Island Resort

Self-proclaimed as "Fiji's most private adults-only resort," Royal Davui Island Resort is both exclusive and intimate with just 16 villas surrounded by crystal-clear waters. All of the rooms have private plunge pools and many have views of the lagoon and reef, which make them perfect for those vacation photos.

There's no shortage of activities on the property including guided house reef tours, sea kayaks, cooking classes, paddle boards, coconut classes, beach games, touch rugby and more.

Sula says she appreciates the menus that change daily at the different on-site restaurants that highlight fresh, local ingredients. There's also the opportunity to take some food down to the beach for a picnic, which can be both fun and romantic.

7.  Le Blanc Spa Resort, Cancun

Cancun has many of the top adults-only all-inclusive resorts including, Le Blanc Spa Resort. Sula says it's the ultimate spa retreat with sleek, modern rooms, many with ocean views. The rooms are luxurious with sea or lagoon views, a rainfall shower, an in-room liquor dispenser and a comfort menu where guests can pick their soaps and aromatherapy scents.

When you venture outside of the room, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy including hydrotherapy sessions, yoga classes  and beachfront relaxation.

You'll also never be hungry during your stay with six restaurants, a cafe and an ice cream shop. Plus, there are five bars where you can get mixed drinks and cocktails during your stay. Sula recommends trying their French and Italian options during your stay to really get a taste of the dining available at the resort.
