Arby's Testing 'Next Level Comfort Food' For a Limited Time: Report

Arby's is reportedly testing several new menu items that fans "can't wait" to try.

Parade has it on good word that the popular fast food chain has temporarily added three new steak-centric items to menus in select markets to gauge interest ahead of any potential national rollout.

Reputable food blogger Markie_devo revealed in a recent social media post that the brand is currently testing a bowl, a sandwich, in addition to a standalone steak entrée at locations in several states.

"Arby's said move over Outback, we got the steaks.🥩," the influencer joked in the caption of the May 7 Instagram upload.

Arby's Steak Nuggets are "juicy, bite-sized morsels of smoked steak served with a side of Hickory BBQ dipping sauce" and available in orders of five or nine pieces, according to the influencer, who said they are currently being tested at locations in Tulsa, Okla., Grand Rapids, Mich., Green Bay, Wis., as well as in Orlando and Jacksonville, Fla.

Its sandwich (which is launching in Tulsa, Okla., Grand Rapids, Mich., Green Bay, Wis., as well as in Orlando and Jacksonville, Fla.) takes those same bite-sized pieces of steak and lines them on a toasted bun before piling on "Havarti cheese, crispy onions, tangy pickles and Arby's signature Horsey Sauce. "

Inspired by comfort food cravings, the bowl the brand is testing tops Arby's returning favorite white cheddar mac and cheese with Steak Nuggets and "a sprinkling of crispy onions." It's the most exclusive of the bunch, said to only be tested in Jacksonville, Fla. and Green Bay, Wis., per Markie_devo.

A rep for Arby's did not immediately return Parade's request for comment.

"I wish i was in an area where they're testing," one Instagram user lamented. "They look delicious."

"That sounds fire," a second declared.

Another fan said they "can't wait to try this."

"Steak nugget bowl sounds like next level comfort food! 🥩," someone else shared.

One more even offered up the location of an exact location in Grand Rapids that they claimed to be serving the new items, "the one close to target on 28th st, and I heard one on Plainfield has them too."

While its new steak-inspired items aren't available everywhere, the brand is giving fans nationwide something new to try, recently unveiling a " mouthwatering menu update " featuring Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer 's AC Barbeque.

Arby's also previously announced it would be bringing back its fan-favorite Potato Cakes after discontinuing them following a limited run last summer .
