Here are five kid-friendly Halloween things to do in the Bluff City.

Mid-South Maze

The 10-acre Mid-South Maze at the Agricenter at 7777 Walnut Grove Road offers both family fun and scary thrills for Memphians. You can enjoy the classic corn maze or the haunted corn maze, which starts at dusk Oct. 30-31. Hours are 4-10 p.m. Oct. 28-Oct. 30 and noon-10 p.m. Oct. 31. Details: Midsouthmaze.com .

Zoo Boo

Benefiting Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, the annual Zoo Boo is billed as "a safe and family-friendly fall festival that has become a beloved tradition." On Zoo Boo nights, the Memphis Zoo is transformed into a place where the zoo's vampire bats (among other reputedly scary animals) feel especially at home, thanks to the addition of what the zoo calls "Trick-or-Treat Stations," candy stations, "friendly ghosts," "singing skeletons" and more. In 2026, Zoo Boo offers a new maze, new photo opportunities, new interactive play spaces, a "Toxic Waste Zone" (which may not be suitable for younger children) and a new digital costume contest. Halloween attire is encouraged but not required. Zoo Boo runs from 6-9:30 on select nights through Nov. 1. For tickets, the full schedule and more information, visit memphiszoo.org/zoo-boo .
