New Asian restaurant will open at Millcreek Mall this spring
A new Asian restaurant is coming to the Millcreek Mall.
Ginza Sushi & Steak House will move into the former Osaki Japanese Steakhouse & Lounge on the mall's outer drive.

"We're looking forward to it opening soon," said Joe Bell, spokesman for the Youngstown-based Cafaro Co. that owns the mall.
The restaurant is expected to open in late spring.
Ginza Sushi & Steak House
The restaurant will be located at 970 Millcreek Mall, near the mall's main entrance from Peach Street.
The 10,600-square-foot building is being remodeled for the business, Bell said.
The restaurant owner also operates Fuji Sushi & Steak House in Lakewood, New York. The menu there features sushi appetizers and entrees and hibachi-grilled vegetables, chicken, seafood and steak.

"The concept here will be very similar, with sushi and hibachi-style dishes," Bell said.
Restaurants past
The restaurant building at 970 Millcreek Mall originally was occupied by Chi-Chi's Mexican restaurant and most recently by Osaki , which closed in 2023.
It also previously housed Aoyama Japanese Steak House.
