Beli users crown Mass. cocktail lounge as world’s top rated new bar for 2025
Beli users have voted, and the world's top rated new bar is an intimate cocktail lounge nestled in Boston 's North End.
Extra Dirty Cocktail Club was crowned the world's top rated new bar in 2025, Beli shared via an Instagram post on Thursday, Dec. 4.
"Beli's 2025 was the biggest year yet, with over 50 million rankings worldwide," the popular restaurant review and ranking app wrote in the post's caption.
The app works by letting users log places they've been or want to try in their city. It also is used for getting trust-based recommendations from friends and building one's own personalized restaurant history.
Extra Dirty Cocktail Club, found in the back room of The Red Fox , beat out bars in Detroit, London, Chicago and Mexico City for the top spot. The hidden cocktail lounge, which opened in March , specializes in fixed-priced menus comprising upscale cocktails and small plates.
The menu changes every few months, with the current iteration being "Autumnal Flavors of New England." Samples beverages on this menu include the Orchard Apples & Butterscotch , Gingersnap Cookie and Pear & Cardamom .
Diners must purchase tickets to visit Extra Dirty Cocktail Club. Tickets are currently $115 per person.
Experiences come with three cocktails and three small plates. Reservations last up to two hours and can be made for up to five people.
