She revealed she’s embracing the “chaos” of her son Brayden’s new milestone alongside her ex Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa — and their sweet photo couldn’t be cuter!
“First day of 4th grade for Bray 🩵,” Haack wrote on Instagram today. “New school Fresh start New adventures Let the chaos begin!!! 🤪”

What an exciting milestone! And Brayden is entering fourth grade with the biggest support system. He smiles in the photo with his arm around his mom, as Tarek and Heather Rae smile right next to him and hold their son Tristan, 2. Tarek and Haack’s daughter Taylor, 14, and Haack’s son Hudson, 5, who she shares with ex Ant Anstead, were not pictured.

Haack and Tarek aren’t just exes and co-parents. They’re also TV co-stars! The duo (and Heather Rae) star in HGTV’s The Flip Off, where they compete to see who can buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest profit. In an interview on the Trading Secrets podcast in April 2025, Tarek shared how he doesn’t let his “adult feelings, emotions, insecurities, and egos” get in the way of doing what’s best for the kids.
“No matter what, I will always do whatever it takes to protect my babies,” he said. “Time has helped a lot. … But even if we hated each other, I would still do it for my babies.”
Another way these parents show up for their kids? By showing up for themselves . Previously, Heather Rae told SheKnows how she makes time for self-care to be a better mom and stepmom.
“I will say I struggled with [prioritizing myself], especially after having Tristan,” the Selling Sunset star said. “What I started to tell myself is that I can’t be the best mom I can be without prioritizing my wellness. Even if it’s small, taking some time for yourself each day is so important.”
Look, parenting isn’t easy for anybody, but putting the work in, making your kids the priority, and scheduling downtime for yourself are some of the ways that these HGTV stars are making co-parenting work for them. They are totally crushing it!
