Every parent of siblings knows that when the playroom suddenly goes quiet, it's time to check on things and make sure they aren't up to no good. After all, when toddlers aren't making noise, there's a pretty good chance they're doing something they shouldn't be !

Apparently, pet parents share similar concerns, and one mom recently hilariously busted her Dachshund, leaving viewers cracking up at what she discovered. At first glance, Clover seemed to be minding her own business. Then Mom says, "Put the ferret down!" and I honestly couldn't stop laughing.

I initially thought the Doxie was playing with a stuffed toy that she wasn't supposed to have. But after making eye contact with her mom, Clover opened her mouth, and a live ferret dropped out! Mom, the Dachshund, and Stinky, the ferret, showed no urgency, so maybe this is a pretty normal occurrence in their household?

For me, it's the completely nonchalant look on Clover's face as she casually lets the little animal go from her mouth. Stinky plops down onto the mat, sits for a moment, then heads toward the other pup in the room as if she's saying, "Did you see what she did to me?"

Viewers Can't Get Enough of Clover's Ferret Surprise

Many followers couldn't believe the Dachshund simply released the ferret without causing any injuries. Clearly, these pets play together often, but the unexpected footage still sparked plenty of discussion in the comments.

Some viewers took a playful approach, writing things like, "Do you have any non-slinky-shaped pets?" and "Not them playing hunter and hunted, LOL."

Others expressed concern, with comments such as, "So wild… that dog is one instinct away from a neck snap," and "Crazy work having a ferret around dogs that hunt rodents."

TikToker @andreafritzbennet later shared a second video showing the animals as friends, which may ease some concerns about Stinky's safety. It certainly seems like Mom knows her little crew, and these siblings appear to have a pretty entertaining relationship. I'd love to see more of them in the future!
