Dramatic Poodle Deserves an Oscar for Her 'Sleeping Dog' Performance
Dogs are so dramatic, and I love it. The smallest things can become an entire theater production if we give them the stage and spotlight to do it. For one tiny Poodle named Pocky, that means giving the greatest performance of "sleeping dog" the stars have ever seen!
"When you pretend to be asleep so you can be carried to bed," the funny TikTok video is captioned, and I've got to say, well done, Pocky!
The 22-second clip shows the Teacup Poodle putting on her best "I'm way too sleepy to move" performance, and she does a pretty convincing job. The side-eye at the end gives her away, though—she knows exactly what she's doing. At least Mom knows that's the pup's plan and goes along with it!

I'm a fan of anything Pocky does, and it has a lot to do with how adorable she is. Being a miniature size, she shows off those fluffy pigtails like the princess she is. She's got that star Poodle energy and loves to show it off (as she should).
Dogs who dress up for Halloween are the only reason the internet should exist. But when Pocky dons a costume, it's worthy of a whole lot more than applause. Once you see her in her pretty dress, you may also be under her spell.
Poodles Have a Flair for the Dramatic
There's no one dog breed who can be referred to as the most dramatic, but there sure are plenty of them more likely to create drama, suspense, and intrigue, and Poodles are among them. While not every curly-coifed pup is the same, Pocky shows how smart these cutie-pies are.
Known for their affectionate, attentive, and fun-loving spirits, Poodles make sure there's never a dull day. Playtime is any time, and when it comes to getting their way, they really think through the best way to go about it. I say if Pocky is so genius she knows to pretend sleep to get carried, so be it!
