This Foster Dog Went to His First Adoption Event, and We Are Losing It
Social events can and are overwhelming for most people. This overwhelm is magnified even more in foster dogs . For foster dogs, these situations can be triggering, leading them to shut down and shake in fear. Unfortunately, a large part of fostering involves these adorable pups meeting potential new families, meaning there's little room to ignore society as a whole.
This was the cause for poor Murphy, a foster dog currently staying with his foster mom, Rachel. Showcasing Murphy's first adoption event at a flower show, Rachel takes us through the overwhelming moment of Murphy's day and some of the positives they encountered.

Murphy's first event started a little tough, with the poor fellow hiding under the adoption table due to the large crowds. Shaking in his foster mom's arms , Murphy was a little slow to warm up to the crowd. Rachel was finally able to lure Murphy out with a little sweet treat in the form of a pup cup. (I thoroughly relate to Murphy here.)

Throughout the video , we see Murphy warming up to other doggies while Rachel explains that Murphy often feels more comfortable around other pups than around humans. (Again, I relate.) At the end, Murphy's sweet foster mom reveals that there were several potential adopters for Murphy, opening the door to a new happy ending for the charming little guy. A responsible and thoughtful foster mom, Rachel also explains how deeply involved she is in Murphy's future, including meeting potential adopters and ensuring he is going to a good home.

As of now, we are all still waiting for Murphy to find his forever family, but at least he knows that the entire internet is cheering him on.
