Gentle Monster Enchants With Futuristic Tea House
- Gentle Monster Haus Nowhere in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong district features a new tea parlour called Nudake Teahouse, offering a seasonal collection of teas in visually stimulating teaware.
The fifth — and the largest — Gentle Monster Haus Nowhere concept store recently landed in Seoul's Seongsu-dong district, and its five-story fantasy world boasts several new concepts including its first tea parlour, where the seductive power of aroma meets the mindfulness of tea culture.
Dubbed " Nudake Teahouse," the experiential lifestyle project serves a seasonal collection of teas in visually stimulating teaware — such as the viral claw-nailed ceramic cups — from Nuflaat.

Located on the fifth floor of the brutalist building, the kitschy space is blanketed over in pistachio and deep violet, evoking cinematic intrigue.
Pleasantly weird concepts, such as "The Mafia," "leather boots" and "Blue Monk," make up a range of 12 teas that highlight the multitudes of black tea, Chinese-style white tea, pu'er tea and more.
Visually deceptive treats such as miniature cookies in the shape of wild mushrooms, a single black leather shoe, an unfinished cigar and seafood offer witty pairing with the tea tasting experience.

With wait time ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, visitors can also skip the queue and head to the tea gift shop, where tea tasters are priced from 12,500 South Korean won, or $9, to 36,000 South Korean won, or $25.
