Who needs a TV when you have a golden retriever ? Known as one of the best family dogs, the golden retriever is best known for its loyalty and impeccable sense of humor. Although their humor is mostly because they don’t have the most thoughts, it’s still an entertaining dog to have around. But far from being ashamed of their knack for chaos, they really seem to relish it and the joy it spreads to their loved ones.

For Emma, a golden retriever on YouTube, dancing is just one of the many ways that she expresses herself and brings laughter to her family. The problem is, I don’t think she actually knows that she’s dancing or the difference between a song and a command. Either way, we’re enjoying it.

In case you weren’t aware, dogs definitely can understand commands; it’s just up to them to actually obey them. Unfortunately for Emma, she can’t really tell if it's a command or Lil Jon’s masterpiece, otherwise known as “Get Low.”

Throughout the video , we see Emma following through on Lil Jon’s lyrics such as “back it up” and “stop and wiggle with it.” As someone who grew up listening to that song on their iPod (yes, that long ago), I found out that Emma and I have basically the same dance moves.

But it wasn’t just me who found Emma’s dance moves to be more than worthy of winning a dance-off. "She was a human in her past life, with a lot of Rhythm.  You go, girl,” said one viewer. Another person added, “She's so smart! She understands song/rap lyrics better than I do most of them.”

“She's getting some energy out in a non-destructive way, I say this song is a win,” said another commenter. If we were to choose, we would also much rather watch our dogs dance to Lil Jon than destroy our furniture any day.

As if Emma’s dance break wasn’t enough cuteness for the day, her sibling Ellie and she have plenty of other instances where they provided plenty of laughs and joy in their fans’ day. Recently, both siblings “tried out” for the Savannah Bananas , proving that these siblings aren’t just renowned dancers, but dedicated athletes as well.

While we wait for a complete dance video, including Emma dancing to the lyrics “to the window, to the wall,” we will be working on our version to accompany her in a future video.
