Golden Retriever Showers His Dad With Gifts—Except None of Them Are Actually Useful
If there's one thing a golden retriever is going to do, it's retrieve. Anyone who's ever met a golden knows they're about to be showered with gifts, whether they like it or not. It's simply in their nature, and we have to admit it's pretty darn adorable.
For one pet parent, having a golden retriever means dealing with an excited pup who's just one step away from being an entire human. Bauer, part of the Moriarity family, is an overzealous golden who truly lives up to his retriever name. Not only does he bring gifts, but he's also been known to bring the entire store.

"I Swear, One of These Days Bauer Is Going to Bring the Kitchen Sink"
Besides being part of one of the internet's favorite dog families, Bauer is well-known for being the perfect example of a golden retriever. Rarely seen without his dog bowl clamped in his mouth, Bauer is almost never not retrieving something. As we can see in the family's latest social media clip, Bauer's retrieving is only getting bigger—and slightly more dangerous—from here.
In an attempt to shower his dog dad with gifts, Bauer comes barreling toward him carrying a trash bag, a suitcase , and a golf club. Later, Bauer also presents his dad with a hockey stick and a drill, just in case he wants to do some light construction while chilling on the couch.
Finally, Bauer couldn't forget to retrieve his dog bowl, which is almost a permanent fixture in his mouth by now. Unhinged as this list of "gifts" may be, it's worth remembering that this all happened in a single week. We're sure it's only going to get more chaotic from here.

In the comments, users were smitten with Bauer's overly excited energy and couldn't help but praise his attempts to be a useful pup.
