Mass. woman wins $2,500 a week for life playing lotto — but chooses one-time payout
A Massachusetts woman won $2,500 a week for the rest of her life — but chose to receive her prize all at once.
Brenda Hancock-Moses, of Leominster, claimed a winning " $2,500 a Week for Life " ticket on Monday.
Hancock-Moses chose the cash option on her prize to receive a one-time payment of $2 million before taxes. She told lottery officials she wanted to invest her winnings.
Hancock-Moses bought her winning ticket for $10 at a Honey Farms gas station located at 134 Leominster Shirley Rd. in Lunenberg.
The store will receive a $26,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
