After years of waiting, praying, petitioning and tweeting our requests to McDonald's, the fast food chain has officially brought back the most sought-after item.

On July 10, McDonald's Snack Wraps made their epic return to menus nationwide.

It's been nine long years since the item was taken off the menu in 2016, but its highly-anticipated revival marks the second permanent addition to the menu this year following the release of the McCrispy Strips.

The 2025 Snack Wrap features McDonald's new McCrispy Strips topped with crisp shredded lettuce and shredded cheese before being neatly tucked into a soft flour tortilla, according to an official description. Like the original version, the new Snack Wraps are available in differing spice levels and flavors, though they will not be offering a grilled version with the relaunch.

For those who like to keep things mild, the Ranch Snack Wrap is described as "smooth, rich and irresistibly savory" while delivering a "satisfying burst" of ranch, garlic and onion. For spice-lovers, look no further than the Spicy Snack Wrap that's "bold, zesty and unapologetically fiery," thanks to the heat of the habanero kick fans of the Spicy McCrispy sandwich are already familiar with.

The minute it was available again, customers dashed to their nearest McD's to get a taste—and the first fan reactions on the internet are rolling in to reveal if it was worth the wait and hype.

"I AM EATING A MCDONALDS SNACK WRAP WERE [sic] SOOOOO BACK," one wrote , with another fan jumping in to declare , "One bite into my snackwrap & I almost cried tears."

"The spicy snackwrap is spicy alright, s**t gave me heartburn," another revealed , as someone else emphasized , "snack wrap is good but its just a mcCrispy strip in a wrap with cheese and lettuce. Spicy one is actually spicy though. Would tell them add pickles and get plain so you can add whatever sauce you want."

"Just had a snack wraplife is worth living again," someone else declared .

Another confirmed it still tasted as good as before : "That snackwrap taste like 09," though many expressed concern over the use of the new strips, with comments like "the nostalgic urge to try the snack wrap knowing it's not chicken selects so it's lower quality," and "Chicken isn't the same 😢."

Others couldn't get over the price , as it now costs $2.99 versus the previous $1.29.

Additional complaints included the lack of a grilled option, with many suggesting that McDonald's skipped on the best flavors, including Honey Mustard, with one stating, "Ranch over Honey Mustard is unfortunate we need to protest 😂," and another noting, "Where is the BBQ SNACK WRAP?! I cant even customize them on the app to make it. 🥺🥺"
