A waterfront estate on Long Island's North Fork is poised to set a new price record for the regional real estate market. Located on the prestigious Nassau Point peninsula in Cutchogue, the 4.25-acre spread pairs more than 300 feet of shoreline along Peconic Bay with a shingle-clad residential compound positioned to maximize sunset views over the water.
The main house, tucked behind artist-designed iron gates at the end of a winding driveway, was completed in 2006. Interiors are defined by detailed millwork, coffered ceilings, and expansive windows. In addition to spacious living and dining rooms, there are a semicircular media lounge, a family room, and a 35-foot-long eat-in kitchen with two ranges, two sinks, and two refrigerators. Most of the principal rooms face the bay, many opening directly onto an 80-foot terrace spanning the rear of the house.

Listed with Sheri Winter Parker of The Corcoran Group, the estate is asking $16.8 million , making it the highest-priced residential listing on the North Fork. A sale near this figure would easily surpass the region's current sales record set this past January, when a 21-acre waterfront estate in Southold sold for $12.4 million. The transaction broke the previous record of $11.2 million set just three months earlier by the sale of late art dealer Barbara Gladstone's home , also in Cutchogue.
