Planning a casino vacation? This New England hotel is among the best in the US
You don't want to gamble on your hotel options when planning a casino vacation.
USA Today put together a list of top 20 casino hotels across the U.S., including Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
"These 20 casino hotels, nominated by an expert panel, offer the best of all worlds: top-notch gaming, excellent amenities, and first-rate accommodations," the website wrote.
Mohegan Sun offers two hotel towers with more than 1,500 guest rooms and suites, USA Today noted.
"Mohegan tribal stories come to life throughout the hotel's design, and rooms are outfitted with the latest technologies, like lightning-fast Wi-Fi and intelligent thermostats. Other amenities include fitness centers, pools, and the Mandara Spa," USA Today wrote.
It is also in the running to be the best casino outside of Las Vegas and one of the top places in the country to play slots.
The public has the option to vote on their favorite. Voting is open until Aug. 25 at noon.
The top 10 casinos will be announced on Sept. 3.
