Pug Is Completely Baffled by Her First Car Wash Experience

It's easy to understand why some dogs get so nervous in a new situation—facing the unknown can be so scary, especially when you're just a little pup who can't fully understand the big world around you. It's not like we can explain to them what the day ahead will entail!

So I really feel for the Pug in the video below, who is experiencing her first and last car wash. Those facial expressions are too funny, but you can tell she is really not into it.

In this video shared by @ sydneythepuggie on TikTok , Sydney is sitting in her seat in the backseat of the car while they drive through the car wash... and she is clearly very alarmed about what's going on in there!

I don't know if I've ever seen a dog's eyes as wide as Sydney's are as she tries to look around at the giant sponges hitting the car with soap from all angles. I can't even begin to imagine what she must have been thinking while all of this was going on in there!

So many of the commenters ran to Sydney's defense—after all, the car wash does have to be pretty scary to a little dog who doesn't understand what's going on! It's loud in there!

"This breaks my heart," one commenter wrote, while another added, "You better snuggle that baby Pug potato right this very second."

Another commented, "I love when dogs look at their human, like, 'Are we not concerned about this?'"

Well, you live and learn, and now, Sydney's humans know that the car wash is a no-go from now on. This was the only real way they could ever find out she doesn't like it, after all.
