Sphynx Cat Mom Won't Let Her Tiny 'Chicken Tender' Kittens Out of Her Sight

Though not everyone may be a fan of the look of a hairless Sphynx cat , you have to admit that when they're kittens, they are quite cute.
In a new viral cat video, we see a mama Sphynx, Kiki, being very protective of her little Sphynx cat kittens who truly look like tiny chicken tenders.
Viewers can't get enough of this overprotective mama cat and her two little hairless chicken tenders.
Those baby Sphynx kittens are so cute!
People in the comments section noted that Kiki, a Calico Sphynx, is so worried when the person gently picks up her little chicken tender baby.
"Let's not do that again…" one person wrote.
"She's like…. I just got them to sleep," speaking for Kiki.
"Kiki's like, 'Let me smell your hand. Did you wash before touching my children?" another person wrote.
"The way she touched it with her face when you put it back. So sweet. Made my heart melt," someone commented.

How To Care for Sphynx Kittens
As you can see in this video, these kittens have a very caring mother, but what should you know about caring for Sphynx kittens ?
First of all, Sphynx cats are known for being very social and having rather big personalities, according to PetMD .
However, caring for Sphynx kittens and adult cats requires a bit more attention.
Because hairless cats don't have fur, their skin is more sensitive.
They need frequent baths (at least every two weeks) to prevent oil buildup, according to Animalko .
They also need their ears and nails cleaned regularly, as oil and wax can build up in these areas.
Sphynx cats also require a strict diet because everything they eat affects their skin.
Kirsten Kranz, founder and executive director of Wisconsin-based Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue, told PetMD : "You want a high-quality food, because food affects the amount of oil that a Sphynx's skin produces. The better the food, the less oil. If you don't feed them a high-quality diet, oils accumulate more quickly and can lead to not just ongoing skin problems but also issues with ear wax and infections."
