I Tried BK’s Mandalorian Menu—And One Item Totally Stole the Show
May the Fourth be with your appetite, because Burger King just went full Mandalorian mode. Starting May 4, the chain dropped a limited-time Mandalorian & Grogu menu at participating U.S. locations, timed to Star Wars Day and the upcoming film release later this month.
Naturally, I showed up ready to do important work (eat everything). Here’s the mission report.
BBQ Bounty Whopper®
A thick boy. Like, “this is the way” levels of commitment. It’s topped with:
-
Swiss cheese
-
Bacon
-
Lettuce
-
Tomato
-
Wavy pickle-flavored potato chips
-
Creamy BBQ sauce
The pickle-flavored chips add the best crunch to the burger, making every bite feel like a plot twist.
Is it subtle? No. But is it fun? Extremely yes.
Price:≈ $8.59
Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake
The real chosen one—and of course, it’s blue.
This thing is a hyperspace jump straight into nostalgia—creamy soft serve blended with blue sugar cookie syrup and topped with cookie crumbles.
It has that nostalgic vanilla flavor of a funfetti birthday cake and soft sugar cookies. I could not stop sipping this thick, sweet, superfun shake.
I would absolutely abandon my Jedi training for this.
Price:≈ $4 to $5
Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries
Listen. I came for the food. I stayed for the packaging.
They come in a Grogu container where his little ears pop out like he’s personally judging your snack choices. 10/10 no notes.
Inside: the familiar crispy white meat Chicken Fries, leveled up for the collab with a parmesan-garlic seasoning that leans savory and a little indulgent. Instead of ketchup, there’s a garlicky dipping sauce that’s bold, rich, and slightly unexpected—like a snack worthy of a tiny, chaotic space traveler.
Flavor-wise?Savory, punchy, and dangerously snackable. The garlic hits first, then the parm rounds it out. Dunk it in the sauce and suddenly you’re not sharing.
Price:≈ $5 to $7 for 12pc / combo higher
Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots
The Empire did these right: crispy tots stuffed with Cheddar, potato, and ranch seasoning—basically comfort food with a stormtrooper aesthetic.
This is a new item created specifically for the collab (not your standard BK side).
They’re cheesy, herby, and very snackable—but slightly less dramatic than the rest of the lineup. Think: reliable side character, not main hero energy.
Price:≈ $3 to $4
The Collectible Cups (aka the real side quest)
Four exclusive cups are up for grabs when you order:
-
Bounty Bundle (≈ $19.99)
-
BBQ Bounty Whopper® Combo (≈ $12–$15)
-
12pc Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fry Combo (≈ $10–$13)
Because what’s a Star Wars collab without something you irrationally decide to collect at 2 am?
Final verdict
Burger King didn’t just drop a menu—they built a whole mini universe.
-
The Whopper = hefty with a satisfying crunch
-
The Chicken Fries = sleeper hit
-
The Tots = solid supporting role
-
The Shake = a dessert drink that steals the show
Honestly? Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake is the one I’d cross galaxies for.
This collab is fun, a little unhinged, and very on-brand for Star Wars Day.
And yes…I will be going back. This is the way.
