Baskin-Robbins Makes ‘Dreams Come True’ With Limited-Edition Ice Cream Flavor

Baskin-Robbins is getting ready to swap out a fan-favorite ice cream flavor for another limited-edition option it hopes is just as successful.

According to an official statement from the brand, "cheesecake lovers’ dreams will come true" thanks to the debut of an all-new ice cream flavor that won't be around for long.

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, Baskin-Robbins revealed it would be introducing a new ice cream flavor next month, just as the fan-favorite sweets shop has done for years. This time, the company said its limited-time offer will let fans "Taste all the yummy layers from your favorite slice" in a scoop of ice cream. And no, BR isn't releasing a pizza-flavored ice cream, at least not yet (though, with the influx of unsuspecting Totino's Pizza collabs , maybe it's only a matter of time).

So what is the special March Flavor of the Month? None other than Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, which the brand described as "a dreamy blend of cheesecake and chocolate cheesecake flavored ice creams with decadent cheesecake pieces, crunchy chocolate chips and cookie crumb swirls."

Baskin-Robbins added that it's "the ultimate combo of sweet and savory."

Fans won't have to wait all that long to enjoy a single or double (maybe even a triple, we won't stop you) scoop of the limited-edition flavor as it's set to debut both in stores and on the Baskin-Robbins app beginning Saturday, March 1.

But that's not all the frozen treats franchise has in store!

Starting on March 1 and running through the end of April, customers can snag a sweet frozen beverage for a great deal–and that includes milkshakes made with the limited-edition Chocolate Chip Cheesecake ice cream. "From Cappuccino Blasts® and real-fruit Smoothies to creamy Milkshakes and the sweet and savory Mangonada — are $5 for a small, $6 for a medium and $7 for a large all day, every day."

Our $5-$6-$7 frozen beverage deal lets guests enjoy our premium drinks all day long,” said the VP of marketing and culinary at Baskin-Robbins,  Nicole Boutwell, in a statement. “It's the perfect opportunity for guests to experience the delicious difference of Baskin-Robbins and treat themselves to our new Flavor of the Month, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake."

Baskin-Robbins' March Flavor of the Month will replace its "cult classic" Love Potion #31 , which is set to disappear for the season at the end of February (or while supplies last), so if you haven't tried a scoop of the Cupid-inspired fave, get it while you still can!
