On Saturday, Jan. 13, the Chiefs face off against the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the NFL playoffs. And Favre admitted that fans will almost certainly blame Swift if the team doesn't go all the way this year.

"If they don't win it or get to the Super Bowl, people are going to say, 'That's why,'"  the retired Green Bay Packers quarterback told  TMZ Sports .

The good news is, Favre predicts the Chiefs have a decent chance of making it to Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.

"Until Andy Reid is unseated as the champion, I have to see it to believe it," he told the outlet.

If the Chiefs do play at the 2024 Super Bowl, it'll mark the team's second consecutive year at the big game. They defeated the Philadelphia Eagles (the team for which Travis' brother,  Jason Kelce , plays) 38-35 in 2023.

Whatever happens, hopefully Chiefs fans keep in mind that however much attention Swift gets at games, she's not an actual member of the team—and her presence in no way dictates the season's outcome.
