Diesel Drops Second Collaboration With Lee
- Diesel and Lee have unveiled their second collection of upcycled deadstock jeans, with each pair being a combination of Diesel and Lee denim in a unique design.
Diesel and Lee continue to tackle the denim industry’s overproduction crisis in their own creative way.
On Tuesday, the global brands unveiled their second Diesel Loves Lee collection of jeans made with upcycled deadstock.

Each pair of limited-edition Diesel Loves Lee jeans is constructed from existing materials sourced from both brands’ unsold stock. One half Diesel, one half Lee , the jeans are either Diesel denim on the front and Lee on the back or vice versa.
The new collection of one-of-a-kind Frankenstein-ed designs centers on a new wash, a dark blue wash that is stone-bleached to harmonize tone, and then overdyed with dark beige pigments for added depth. The jeans are finished with a raw-edged side seam and slightly frayed edges.
The drop includes two genderless straight leg styles and two women’s bootcut jeans. The jeans come in sizes XS-XL and retail for $350.
Diesel rolled out the Diesel Loves concept with Lee last December as a call-to-action for the denim community to share materials, manufacturing and resources as a “challenge to the industry standard of brand collaborations.” At the time of the launch, the two denim giants said the partnership represents the “power of denim to unite us all.”
As part of their ongoing partnership, Diesel and Lee contributed 100,000 euros (approximately $105,113) to the OTB Foundation to benefit projects with the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
