Five Below Fans Rush to Grab Exclusive Flavor of Taylor Swift's Favorite Candy

Five Below has introduced a new Mixed Fruit flavor of Smarties Squashies, expanding beyond the original Raspberry and Cream variety, after the candy was name-dropped by Taylor Swift in an interview with Hoda Kotb.
The candy brand teased the new flavor in a social media video, prompting fans to rush to Five Below stores in search of the viral "foamy" rectangle-shaped candies, with some expressing disappointment at not finding the new variety in stock.
While the new Mixed Fruit Squashies are not yet available for online purchase through Five Below, fans have reported spotting the new treat at convenience stores like Sheetz for those unable to visit a physical store location.

Five Below just unveiled an all-new flavor variety of a certain candy believed to be Taylor Swift's favorite.

Smarties Squashies, the American version of the U.K. candy the pop star once name-dropped in an interview with Hoda Kotb, is expanding its offerings well past its original Raspberry and Cream-flavored confection.

The beloved candy brand teased its latest addition–Mixed Fruit Squashies–in a video recently uploaded to social media, which depicted a shopper running to Five Below's sweets section to stock up on the new release as screenshots of comments inquiring about where to purchase the Smarties variety.

"find NEW mixed fruit @smartiessquashies at @fivebelow now! 😱," the accompanying caption explained, confirming there is now a second flavor of the viral "foamy" rectangle-shaped candies.

Some fans have already admitted to checking out their nearest Five Below in hopes of finding the new treat–but not everyone was lucky.

"These are actually hela good," one TikToker exclaimed.

"Shhh! Don’t tell everyone," another joked .

"My 5 Below didn’t have them yet! 😭," a different shopper shared via Instagram. "im so excited to try them!"

"I went yesterday and they didn't have the new variety," another disappointed fan wrote. "And the original was sold out 😔."

Fans who don't have a Five Below near them were also disappointed that they may not be able to enjoy the new Squashies flavor (since it's currently not available to order through the store online ), but rumor has it the new treat has been spotted at convenience stores like Sheetz .
