After taking social media by storm in 2024, pistachio became a global obsession by way of the super famous Dubai chocolate bar. The chocolate bar stuffed with pistachio cream-coated shredded kataifi phyllo dough took over everyone's TikTok feeds but finding a real bar to eat was easier said than done. But starting April 7, Shake Shack is taking a crack at the luxe sensation with a new limited time milkshake hitting locations across New York City, Los Angeles and Miami.

What is the New Dubai Chocolate PistachioShake at Shake Shack?
A luxurious treat inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate bar, Shake Shack's Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake is made with real frozen custard infused with pure pistachio paste, blended with toasted kataifi shredded phyllo pastry. It is then coated in a crackable dark chocolate shell and topped with chopped pistachios and crunchy kataifi phyllo pastry dough. In a nutshell, it's a flavor party in a cup.
After a highly successful debut at Middle Eastern Shacks a few months ago, Shake Shack is bringing this decadent experience to 30 Shacks across New York City, Los Angeles and Miami for just 30 days. We were invited to get an exclusive first look and sip of the new shake and here is our honest review after giving it a try.

What I Thought of the New Dubai Chocolate PistachioShake at Shake Shack
I'm a big fan of the classic milkshakes available at Shake Shack year-round (especially you, Cookies and Cream!), so I had a feeling I would get on very well with the new shake. What I didn't expect, however, is I would like it this much.
To put it bluntly, Shake Shack's Dubai Chocolate PistachioShake was incredible . The pistachio milkshake base was nutty, creamy and tasted truly of really pure salted pistachios and sweet dairy. The crunchy nutty buttery qualities of the star ingredient—pistachio—were accentuated by the chopped nuts and toasted shredded kataifi dough toppings. Now the dark chocolate magic shell, however, was nothing short of sorcery. When you give the cup a slight squeeze, the hard chocolate coating cracks open to reveal the green shake housed inside. When put together, you get slurps of creamy shake loaded with cracked chocolate bits, crunchy nuts, and crispy dough. The result? A not-too-sweet dessert drink packed with so much unbelievable texture. I can safely say this is my favorite Shake Shack shake to date.
