Jell-O Launches Game-Changing New Item
- Jell-O has launched a new oat milk chocolate pudding that is both lactose-free and vegan, marking the first time Kraft Heinz has entered the plant-based desserts category.
Jell-O Pudding has a new product on the market that’s sure to delight both lactose intolerant people and those who adhere to plant-based diets.
Available in stores now, Jell-O Oat Milk Chocolate Pudding features the flavor and texture that fans know and love, but without any dairy ingredients.
This is a first not just for Jello but for its parent company. “This monumental moment marks the first time Kraft Heinz has both entered the plant-based desserts category and launched an oat milk-based product,” the brand told Parade in a statement.
“As our fans’ diets and preferences change, we’re evolving our portfolio alongside them. Our chocolate pudding is a timeless classic, and now, thanks to our lactose-free and vegan oat milk version, we’re excited to give more families the opportunity to enjoy it,” said Lauren Gumbiner, Associate Director of Marketing Desserts at The Kraft Heinz Company.
Social media users were excited by the news, taking to the comments when popular food bloggers like Snachwithzach revealed the launch. “I don’t even like pudding like that but I wanna try the oat milk pudding,” said one commenter as another called it “a vibe.”
A third chimed in to declare that their “prayers have been answered” as another shared the sentiment, writing that they have “been DREAMING of this.”
