A Lavish $23.5 Million French Renaissance Mansion in Dallas Is Fit for Royalty
- A French Renaissance-inspired estate in Dallas, featuring six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and Old World details, is listed for $23.5 million.
If Louis XVI had been into cowboy boots and the rodeo, he surely would have loved this gilt-trimmed Dallas estate.
The almost 20,000-square-foot French Renaissance–inspired home in the tony enclave of Old Preston Hollow , now listed for $23.5 million, sits on more than two acres of land and encompasses six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, plus three additional powder rooms. Built in 2014 for the CEO of Fischer & Co., it's a relatively new build, but the details are squarely Old World. Rachel Trowbridge and Allie Beth Allman at Allie Beth Allman & Associates hold the listing .

The kitchen is a chef's dream, with four Wolf ovens and an eight-burner range, plus an induction stovetop. Sports fans, meanwhile, couldn't ask for a much better media room: Big games are taken quite seriously, with five televisions and a 120-inch drop-down screen for watching your team (hopefully) win. There's also a full wet bar to celebrate wins and mourn losses. Additionally on the main floor, you'll find the homeowner's suite, which includes its own sitting room, a pair of marble-floored bathrooms, and a second-story couture closet for true clotheshorses.
Along with five TVs in the media room, you also get a 120-inch drop-down screen.
Outside, landscaping comes courtesy of Warren Johnson, who also designed much of the Dallas Arboretum. Here you'll encounter a saltwater pool, a cabana, plentiful walking paths, an antique gazebo, and even a nine-hole putting green. As the original homeowner was a car collector, there are also three garages with four lifts, ensuring enough space for up to 10 vehicles.
When the Fischers sold the property back in 2020, it was snapped up by Cam and Scott Hall, who elected to buy the grand furnishings that had been selected for the home. Just five years later, the estate is back on the market, and with a price tag far higher than the $8 million it was appraised for back then.
