Food blogger Markie_devo reports that "McDonald's is bringing back the Spicy Chicken McNuggets." The tempura-coated chicken bites are similar to the original Chicken McNuggets, but seasoned with a blend of cayenne and chili pepper to give them an extra kick of heat.
The popular Instagram account then noted that while the spicy nuggets will be available starting Nov. 4, they won't be rolling out nationally. Fans will be able to find the limited-time only offering at participating restaurants in "local markets including Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, New York and more."
Some commenters were quick to point out that they've been able to find the Spicy Chicken McNuggets in their local markets, including in California.
Others were concerned about availability in their states, but the food blogger pointed out that the chain hasn't specified the full rollout locations so they can still hold out hope that they'll be able to find the Spicy Chicken McNuggets at their local McDonald's restaurants.
However, there is one McDonald's rollout that should inspire hope in all Golden Arches fans, as the newest burger the chain is testing "could be as iconic as the Big Mac," according to another food blogger.
Popular Instagram account Snackolator reports that the Big Arch, which is currently being tested in several markets including Canada and Portugal, is not only bigger than a Big Mac but features two beef patties, three squares of white cheddar cheese, a "tangy" sauce and onions served "both fresh and crispy" on a brioche bun.
If the current testing goes well, McDonald's will reportedly consider rolling out the new burger to other markets, potentially including the United States.
