"This home is a rare architectural gem—one of those properties that just doesn't come around often," Accardo said in a statement. "It has all the hallmarks of true mid-century design: intentional flow, indoor-outdoor living, and original details that have been beautifully preserved … It checks every box for buyers looking for character and opportunity."

Surrounded by lush California landscaping, including mature lemon, orange, and avocado trees, the house has been freshly painted, with a light-blue front door leading you into the main room. Here, there's a formal living room with a tiled fireplace, along with a more casual family room and an open kitchen and dining area. Both living spaces spill out to the sizable backyard, where you'll find a heated pool, an above-ground spa, a gazebo, and even an outdoor shower and bathroom.

The backyard includes a heated pool, an above-ground spa, and a gazebo.

The primary bedroom, also with outdoor access, is adjoined by a bathroom with a funky blue-tiled shower. Guests can stay in one of the three other bedrooms, or there's a detached office that could easily be converted into a fifth bedroom or guest suite. Outside, on the more than 17,000-square-foot lot, you'll also find a three-car garage, storage sheds, and rooftop solar panels.

Rancho Palos Verdes, about 30 miles south of Downtown Los Angeles, is well known for the midcentury properties that dot its rolling hills. Late last year, a home designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright listed for $8.8 million. And, among the wealthy enclave's more modern offerings is a lavish blufftop compound with endless views of the Pacific Ocean and a $29.8 million asking price, down from its original ask of $35 million.
