Nostalgic Sour Candy Unveils 4 New Flavors That Send Fans Into a Frenzy

Retro Sours released four new flavors of its nostalgic candy—and the offerings practically sent fans into a frenzy.
Altoids Sours were discontinued in 2010. However, Iconic Candy revived the fan-favorite sweets in 2024. Mango, Tangerine and Citrus were the initial three flavors offered.
Now, four more flavors have joined the Retro Sours lineup: Raspberry, Watermelon, Passion Fruit and Red Apple.
Food blogger Snack Betch shared the exciting news with their Instagram followers on May 13, teasing that the new flavors would "be out very very soon."
In the comments, sour candy lovers rejoiced over the major update.
One Instagram user declared, "Oh yay I love their Tangerine can't wait to try their new flavors🔥."
Someone else shared, "I can't wait for these! ❤️," as another echoed, "🔥👏 Can't wait to try 😮."
"YESSS the apple ones were supreme," one fan recalled.
"Can't wait for the passionfruit 🔥🔥," a different follower exclaimed.
Meanwhile, yet another fan confessed, "Boutta tear my mouth up with the raspberry ones 👏."
According to Snack Betch, some stores were already selling the new Raspberry, Watermelon, Passion Fruit and Red Apple Reto Sours. They will reportedly be available more widely at stores that already carry the candies and online.
