Pharrell’s $500 Adidas Super Shoe Is Returning Only for the London Marathon in Limited Numbers

Pharrell's super-limited collaboration in Adidas' lightest-ever running shoe is set to return for one of the World Marathon Majors.
The Pharrell Williams x Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 will release this weekend exclusively on-sight for the London Marathon. The super shoe with multi-color stripes has only released once before, also in limited numbers for the New York City Marathon. Pharrell gave the shoe its public debut while holding the torch at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony last summer, and it popped up again at the Chicago Marathon.

Green, blue and brown oversized striping is inspired by Earth and is intended by Pharrell to promote "unity and connection through movement."
Weighing just 138, the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 launched late in the summer of 2023 and has been a regular sight on marathon podiums. It's lighter even than Nike's top-of-the-line Alphafly 3 (185 grams) and comes with a first-of-its-kind forefoot rocker to go along with Lightstrike Pro foam, propulsive EnergyRods and paper-thin upper and outsole.
Adidas appears to be in position to launch the $500 super shoe's successor soon, as Alphonce Simbu and Cybrian Kotut wore the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 2 while finishing second and third, respectively, Monday in the Boston Marathon men's race.
The only collaborator besides Pharrell for the Adios Pro Evo 1 is Kith, though Y-3 has collaborated on the newer Adizero Adios Pro 4 .
The Pharrell Williams x Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 will release Saturday, April 26, the day before the London Marathon, exclusively at End. Clothing's 59 Broadwick St. store in the Carnaby neighborhood of London. Pricing is set at $500.
