Travis Kelce Responds to Kylie Kelce’s Refusal to Wear Chiefs Gear at the Super Bowl

Travis Kelceseemingly has nothing but love for his sister-in-law , Kylie Kelce , so when the opportunity presents itself, he's going to entertain some playful teasing.
Case in point: the most recent episode of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's podcast, New Heights , which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce . During the Wednesday, Feb. 14, episode , the two NFL stars took a moment to discuss Kylie's Super Bowl LVIII fashion and her decision not to wear Chiefs gear in support of her brother-in-law.
"Kylie got some love from the Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear even though she has personal connections," Jason, 36, shared. "She just does not want to do it."
"I get it man. She doesn't seem to care about uh, Cabrini, her college. She'll wear University of Cincinnati," Travis, 34, quipped, referring to the red sweater Kylie wore on Sunday, Feb. 11, which happened to be from the college both brothers attended.
"She'll wear other universities but she won't wear other NFL teams," the Philadelphia Eagles center joked before defending his wife, explaining that Kylie was "definitely supporting Trav" by sporting a New Heights t-shirt underneath her red sweater.
Why Kylie chooses not to wear "other NFL teams" could be out of respect for her Philly roots and her husband's career, or maybe it's because she's just that superstitious.
Ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl, Kylie chatted with Parade for an exclusive interview which touched upon some of her dos and don'ts during the big game.
"I always like to go into it with the assumption that it could go either way only because it prepares you," Kylie told Parade . "And also it doesn't jinx you, because I'm very superstitious."
She continued: "So I will just say that I am going to cheer very, very enthusiastically for the Chiefs and Trav and hope that some of that energy is absorbed and then used. So that's my plan."
