If you love hiking, fishing and the great outdoors, and require an abundance of power to sustain your weekend's worth of phone charging and lighting, we've got you.
Walmart is selling the SOLPOWBEN 20000mAh solar charger for only $17, and it's lightweight, highly efficient and very functional. The usual listing price is $50, so you're getting a 66% discount on this bestseller.
Five colors are available, including orange (pictured below), green, blue, red and black. This 20,000mAh solar power bank is compatible with all types of phones on the market, including iPhones, as well as other devices like cameras.
It has over 8,400 ratings on Walmart.com, with an average score of 4.3 stars out of five. Based on several reviews, customers praise it for its long battery life and compact size.
"I had no idea how crucial it would be," wrote a Florida resident who considers it a fantastic investment. "(Hurricane) Ian struck soon after, among the worst in SW Florida. For the five days of the outage, I was grateful to have it to charge our phones. Kept us informed and gave us the opportunity to speak with friends and family who were concerned about our well-being."
"These are so awesome, they even charge on cloudy days!!" another buyer wrote. "I leave one in the car and have one inside just in case. I liked them so much I bought four more for gifts!"
A third shopper said, "I have charged my phone 3 times from 15% to 100%, and there is still juice left in the power bank."

The fact that you can charge it using AC or solar power is a handy feature that makes it an excellent choice for anyone living in rural areas, where power outages can last for hours.
Several reviewers also acknowledge that the solar charging system can initiate charging immediately, even in areas with shadows. To check the remaining power, look for the five LEDs at the bottom, which indicate the charge status.
It can also function as a powerful flashlight, reaching a distance of 40 meters, and features three lighting modes, including a flashing mode that can be used during emergencies. On the back side, the manufacturer has included a built-in compass for when you need to find the direction.
The battery pack weighs less than a pound, making it very convenient to carry around. Additionally, because it is dustproof, waterproof and shockproof, it won't get damaged when you attach it to your backpack while hiking in the rain.
This is an indispensable purchase if you're embarking on excursions and need that outdoor energy boost. Based on its capabilities, you could easily be paying over $60 for the big brand names, but you have the opportunity to get it for only $17.
Also, if you spend over $35, you get free shipping from Walmart.
