20-year-old man shot, killed in Mass. Saturday morning

A 20-year-old man was shot and killed in Chelsea early Saturday morning according to the city's police department.

Police responded to the area of 40 Watts St. at around 12:30 a.m. following a report of a shooting, the statement reads. Once officers arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Despite, life-saving efforts, the 20-year-old was pronounced dead, Chelsea police said.

The incident is under investigation by Chelsea Police detectives, along with Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
