Coca-Cola has unveiled a new limited-time edition holiday flavor for the first time in five years.
The company announced on Tuesday that it's rolling out a new flavor called Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla that offers "a festive twist on the classic taste that delivers comfort, refreshment and seasonal joy – just in time for the holidays," USA Today reported.
Coca-Cola described the taste as "a delicious taste of Coca-Cola infused with smooth, creamy vanilla flavors that capture the joy of the season."
Vice President of Coca-Cola Trademark, North America Stacy Jackson said the flavor was "created to capture the simple joys that make the season special."
"The smooth, creamy vanilla flavor adds a comforting twist to the classic Coca-Cola taste, offering a moment to pause, connect and savor the spirit of the holidays," Jackson said.
Coca-Cola fans can find both full and zero-sugar versions of the new flavor. The full sugar Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla has 150 calories and 42 grams of sugar per 12-ounce serving, while the Zero Sugar variant has 0 calories and 0 grams of sugar per 12-ounce serving, Coke said according to USA Today.
The packaging for Holiday Creamy Vanilla will feature the classic Coke design but also use bottles and cans with creamy-vanilla-inspired colors to "authentically emulate (the) smooth flavors," the company said.
Customers can get their hands on the new flavor starting Nov. 13 in 12-ounce 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles at retailers across the United States and Canada or online at coca-cola.com .
