A beloved neighborhood diner in Greater Boston is closing its doors.

Minuteman Diner in Bedford will close for good on Wednesday, July 30, as owner Diane Cohen retires.

"Thank you to our amazing staff, both past and present, and the loyal customers of Minuteman Diner," Cohen wrote in an Instagram post on July 16.

"The last five-and-a-half years have been fulfilling, and there is deep gratitude for everyone. This could not have been done without dedication and hard work," she wrote. "Thank you for the unwavering support, for becoming part of the family, and for all the love, laughter, and memories shared here. Everyone will always hold a special place in my heart."

Minuteman Diner opened in January 2020, The Bedford Citizen reported . Customers have flocked to the restaurant for its full all-day menu, which includes signature breakfast options.

"We moved to Bedford 5 years ago, and we haven't known life here in Bedford without you," one Instagram user commented on the eatery's post. "We will miss your food, your wonderfully friendly and hospitable waitstaff, and your presence in the community."

Another Instagram user wrote, "So sad to hear one of the best is closing," while another commented, "Your restaurant is such a valuable part of Bedford, you will be missed."

Minuteman Diner's last day of service will be July 30. The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
