For Christians all over the world, Easter Sunday marks the most important day of their faith.
Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion. It is also the final day of Lent, 40 days of fasting and reflection, and of the Holy Week, which includes Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
The religious holiday is not a federal holiday , but many offices, stores and federal services are closed because they don't operate on Sundays. Some retail stores and restaurants will be closed to allow employees to celebrate with their families.

Is Good Friday a federal holiday?
No, Good Friday is not a federal holiday in the U.S., so federal services should be open as normal. This is the same case for Oklahoma state government services and the City of Oklahoma City.
However, Good Friday is an observed holiday in Oklahoma County, so county offices and the courthouse will be closed on Friday, April 3.

The U.S. Postal Service is typically closed on Sundays. It will operate as usual on Good Friday.
Will FedEx and UPS deliver on Good Friday, Easter Sunday?
FedEx will be operating under modified service on Good Friday and will be closed on Easter Sunday. It will operate under regular hours on Holy Saturday.
UPS will be open on Good Friday and closed on Easter Sunday.
Will banks be open on Good Friday, Easter Sunday?
Most major banks in Oklahoma should be open on Good Friday but closed on Easter Sunday, as most banks are typically closed on Sundays.
ATMs and online and mobile banking features should still be accessible. However, some transactions may not process until the next business day.

Many major retailers, such as Target, Sam's Club and Costco, will be closed on April 5 to observe Easter Sunday. Other stores that will be closed on Sunday include Lowe's, Aldi, Burlington, TJ Maxx and Best Buy.
But not all stores will be closed. Grocery stores like Walmart, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, as well as CVS and Walgreens pharmacies, should remain open. Fast food and chain restaurants are also likely to remain open, though local restaurants could be closed, depending on location.
